Do you have uneven temperatures in your home? Do you find it hard to reduce your energy costs? The Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program can help you be more comfortable in every room while lowering your energy costs by up to 20%.* Plus, you can get rebates up to $10,000** for completing eligible home improvements.

Step 1: The Assessment

Get started by scheduling a Home Energy Assessment for only $100 (a $400 value). Delmarva Power pays $300.*** Through this program, a specially trained Participating Contractor will come to your home and:

  • Perform a required comprehensive evaluation of your home systems (air sealing and insulation, HVAC, and more)
  • Provide a detailed, customized report with prioritized recommended improvements

Step 2: Available Rebates

Following your assessment, you’ll learn about the rebates available for improvements to make your home more energy efficient and recommendations to solve the problems identified. Making those upgrades can help you save even more energy and money. Plus, you may qualify for 0% interest loans to complete the upgrades.

In addition to your Home Performance program rebate of up to $10,000, air sealing and insulation work is eligible for a tax credit of 30% of the project cost (up to $1,200) with Inflation Reduction Act federal tax credits. Plus, if you upgrade to a new ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump water heater you could receive similar federal tax credits (30% of project costs up to $2,000). Click here to learn more.
