Rebate Overview Builders specializing in the construction of residential multifamily structures in Maryland can receive rebates from Delmarva Power for ENERGY STAR certified multifamily low-rise new construction. Pepco will provide participating builders who construct new qualifying multifamily, low-rise structures with both financial incentives and technical assistance. This new rebate is aimed at builders who construct qualifying ENERGY STAR certified multifamily low-rise buildings as specified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Building Eligibility Criteria This rebate is for any multifamily low-rise units meeting the ENERGY STAR requirements through the Certified Homes Program as determined by the EPA ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction Program Decision Tree, Version 1.3. Projects also must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive incentives: Projects must have started on or after May 28, 2014. Projects must be ENERGY STAR certified and have 90% LED lighting. Projects cannot be receiving funding from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for energy-efficient upgrades.
