Virtual Home Energy Check-up

A trained Energy Analyst will send you a checklist of items to help prepare for your appointment. Then they’ll contact you via phone or video chat and ask you questions about your home. Topics typically include:

  • Heating and cooling systems
  • Windows and doors
  • Lighting and appliances
  • Water heating equipment

What You Get

After completing the virtual assessment, your Energy Analyst will:

  • Provide you with a summary report explaining the findings
  • Identify ways you can reduce energy use and costs
  • Mail you a no-cost kit with energy-saving products such as ENERGY STAR® certified LED bulbs, efficient-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, and a smart power strip

The ENERGY STAR Difference*

Your no-cost kit will include ENERY STAR certified items such as LED bulbs. Products that have earned the ENERGY STAR deliver exceptional features, while using less energy.

An ENERGY STAR certified light bulb last up to 15 times longer, saves about $55 in electricity costs over its lifetime, and uses about 70-90% less energy than incandescent lighting. They also are durable, versatile, and most are dimmable.
