Whether you are looking for a small change or a complete overhaul, we can help you design the perfect mix of improvements for your specific needs. Our program incentives cover up to 70% of the cost for many types of equipment.

Quick Energy Check-ups

Quick Energy Check-ups (QECs) are free to the customer. A Service Provider will visit your business, make recommendations, and install energy-efficient devices.

Some examples are:
  • Turn on electronic devices energy-savings feature.
  • Install signs to turn off lights when not in use.
  • Setting water heater thermostat to 115⁰F–120⁰F.    *If dishwashing is not a factor
  • Install timers on water coolers.
  • Insulate exposed water heater and refrigerant pipes.
  • Replace worn weather stripping on exterior doors.
  • Reduce air infiltration using caulk and spray foam.

Your Service Provider will install up to $250 worth of these devices at no cost to you. As the customer, you will need to give consent to the Service Provider before installation.

Lighting

Whether you are upgrading existing fixtures, considering innovative lighting technologies or lighting controls, there is most likely an incentive that will reward you for updating your lighting.

Many customers upgrade to LED lighting. LEDs can use up to 90% less electricity than other lighting options. This will save you money every month on your electric bill and you’ll have a brighter space.

Heating and Cooling

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems have a major impact on energy use. Our program helps cover the cost of new air conditioners, heaters, and other HVAC equipment that will use less electricity than standard HVAC options. This means your electric bill will be lower and your space will be as comfortable as you’d like.

When you get energy efficient HVAC units, you won’t have to debate between being comfortable or saving money on your electric bill.

Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)


Variable frequency drives (VFDs) control motor speed to use less electricity. By controlling motor speed and torque, VFDs offer greatly enhanced system control and efficiency. VFDs are commonly used on fans and water pumps.

Water Heaters, Clothes Washers, and Dehumidifiers


We offer cash incentives for installing energy-efficient commercial heat pumps, water heaters, clothes washers, and dehumidifiers.

By upgrading to more energy-efficient units through our program, you can buy new equipment for as little as 30% of the total project cost. Upgrading to energy-efficient equipment can also reduce your electric bill for years to come.

Specialized Controls


We cover up to 70% of the total cost for electrical controls to be installed in small businesses. These controls can help you save money and energy by automatically turning off lights and equipment when rooms are not occupied.

Examples are:
  • Smart strips
  • Personal occupancy controls
  • Hotel room HVAC and receptacle controls
  • Vending machine controls

Commercial Kitchen Equipment


We offer cash incentives for a wide range of energy-efficient refrigerators, freezers, and commercial kitchen equipment. Additionally, if your business has refrigeration, installing energy-efficient equipment and controls on existing or new equipment can help you reduce energy costs and enhance equipment reliability.

Incentives are available for:
  • Anti-sweat heat controls for cooler and freezer doors
  • Reach-in door closers for coolers and freezers
  • Strip curtains for walk-in coolers and freezers
  • ECM evaporative fan motors for walk-in and display coolers and freezers
  • Residential refrigerators
  • Solid and glass door reach-in refrigerators and freezers
  • Steam cookers
  • Griddles
  • Convection and combination ovens
  • Low- and high-temperature commercial dishwashers
  • Low-flow pre-rinse valves for automatic dishwashers
  • Cube, nugget, and flake ice machines
  • Water coolers
